AS A MINDTOOL
This is a lesson plan created as a project for my Pedagogy and Design classes at Cambridge College. I will be incorporating this lesson into my Capstone project, a graduation requirement that I am working on.
I created a lesson using spreadsheets as a mindtool for high school Algebra 1 students. Students should follow the lesson plan and create a system of inequalities and a profit equation from information given to them in story form. They will then use Excel to create graphs from the inequalities. Based on Linear Programming concepts, students will find the corner points of the graph and find the maximum profit of the given scenario.
